![]() ![]() What authors, or books have influenced you?ĭerek Landy’s Skulduggery Pleasant Series was my first obsession with fantasy. ![]() But I realised that some scenes require further clarity by exposing the perspectives of other characters in the scene. The overall book is narrated in the third-person, strictly from the point of view of one individual character at a time. I used this unconventional style in the that particular chapter because I felt it was necessary to give the reader an insight into their complex familial relationship and their inner feelings toward each other. This is apparent in the first chapter where I narrated the scene from the perspective of the Emperor, the Emperor’s brother Prince Zeirick, and the Emperor’s natural son Trevelyn. The names of the sequels are on my blog website.Ĭertainly! I tend to write some chapters of my book in a free manner of narration that explores multiple points of view in the same chapter. Which is part of a 6 book series (tentatively, the number of books in the series may change), the Dawn Saga.
